Man Charged With Felony DWI On I-684 Near North Salem

New York State Police charged a Dutchess County man with felony aggravated driving while intoxicated on Interstate 684 near the town of Southeast in Putnam County on Monday, Oct. 27, officials said. Troopers were dispatched after receiving a call of an erratically operated vehicle on Interstate 684 at approximately 11 a.m. Authorities located the vehicle operated by Larry A. Bopp, 51 years old, of Wappinger Falls and suspected him of being intoxicated, police said.

An Amtrak worker killed Wednesday after being hit by a train was identified Thursday as Minwella Nicole Kline Hagen , Columbia County Coroner James Bertram said. Minwella, also known as "Nikki," 41, of Coxsackie, was an Amtrak signal maintainer, wife and mother of two young daughters, according to her Facebook and authorities.

Authorities are investigating the death of a woman who police say was killed in a campfire accident at her boyfriend's Hudson Valley home.
