The Dutchess County Department of Health is hosting drowning prevention seminars for lifeguards throughout the county through June 21. The seminars, which are free and open to the public, are intended to increase public awareness on methods of drowning prevention, and can be beneficial to anyone with access to a pool, not just lifeguards.
