Winnetka college student killed in New York hit-and-run

A college student from Winnetka was one of two pedestrians killed Friday night in a hit-and-run crash in Tivoli, N.Y. Sarah McCausland, 19, was walking with a group of people on N.Y. Route 9G just north of Broadway when three of them were hit by a southbound vehicle, according to a release from the Dutchess County, N.Y. Sheriff's office.
