13 dogs die in fire at Hudson Valley rescue kennel

Authorities are looking into the cause of a fire that killed more than a dozen Jack Russell terriers being kept at a Hudson Valley dog rescue kennel. Fire officials in Dutchess County tell local media that the fire broke out early Thursday morning at the Russell Rescue kennel on Route 9G in the town of Rhinebeck, 85 miles north of New York City.
