Outdoors: Conditions deny cheaters early start to fishing season

The official opening of trout fishing season is five days away. If all was right with the world, at the beginning of last week a truck from the Department of Environmental Conservation's Catskill Fish Hatchery in Livingston Manor, would have made the first trip of the stocking season into Dutchess County.
