Election Day results generated a mixed voter turnout in the mid-Hudson Valley. Nearly 60 percent of voters in Dutchess County voted in favor of Proposition 1, which passed in the state, authorizing seven Las Vegas-style gaming casinos to be built around the state, including one that will eventually open in New York City.
