Girls basketball: Beacon clinches share of league crown

There was a lot to celebrate in southern Dutchess County on Tuesday. Not only did the Beacon High School girls basketball team celebrate its departing seniors, but the Bulldogs also clinched at least a share of the Section 1 Conference 1 League A championship with a 65-35 victory over visiting Roy C. Ketcham.
