New York State Police from the Brewster barracks charged a Dutchess County man with driving while intoxicated following a three-car accident on Route 22 near Interstate 684 on Friday, Feb. 27, according to officials. William J. Carey, 60, was traveling north on Route 22 when two vehicles in front of him began to slow due to traffic.
